Tyrese Maxey Caught in LeBron Chalk Toss

Tyrese Maxey got caught in LeBron James’ pregame chalk toss, then bounced back with 28 points and five assists in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 106-100 win over the reigning champion New York Knicks. Maxey joked about being in the wrong place at the wrong time on social media. Philadelphia’s next game is its home opener Thursday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Maxey has already learned one lesson about sharing a court with LeBron: stay away from the scorer’s table before tip-off.
