Stephen Curry Says Warriors Pursued LeBron James

Stephen Curry told ESPN’s Marc J. Spears that the Warriors made a run at LeBron James before LeBron chose the 76ers. “We took some shots at him,” Curry said. He added there were “days I did, days I didn’t” think LeBron was headed to Golden State. LeBron instead joins Philadelphia with Jaylen Brown, Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey as he chases another NBA Finals trip. Golden State moves forward with Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler and Al Horford, trying to get back into the West playoff mix.
