Paul George Finally Healthy, Sixers Still Shaky

Paul George looks like a new man for the Sixers after a rough 2024 25 season. He scored 35 with seven threes in Sunday’s loss to Atlanta and said simply "Just been healthier." After playing only 41 games last year he is off a minutes restriction and has hit 20 or more points in three of four games. Philadelphia is 14 11 despite ongoing health issues to key pieces. Merlin sees the picture clearly. Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and George are a fragile constellation right now, and Philly’s ceiling depends on them aligning. Maxey’s 31.5 points per game and rookie VJ Edgecombe give the club hope, but health will cast the deciding vote. George’s line "I didn't see myself being washed that fast" shows the hunger.
