Nikola Jokic Tops NBA Creators List

Nikola Jokić tops this ranking of the NBA’s best creators heading into 2026-27. He averaged 10.7 assists last season and remains the rare center who can run an entire offense. Tyrese Haliburton, Luka Dončić, Trae Young and Cade Cunningham round out the top group, while LeBron James, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Brunson stay among the league’s best table-setters. The list also gives love to bigger creators like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Scottie Barnes, Jalen Johnson and Alperen Sengün. Young guards like Stephon Castle, Isaiah Collier and Jalen Suggs are climbing too. It’s not just about assist totals, it’s about who bends a defense and gets teammates clean looks.
