Luka Doncic Seeks Europe Treatment for Hamstring
Luka Dončić is heading to Europe for specialized medical treatment as he tries to get back for the Lakers’ playoff run, agent Bill Duffy told ESPN’s Shams Charania and Dave McMenamin. Luka was ruled out for the rest of the regular season April 3 with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, and his playoff status is still unclear. He averaged 33.5 points, 8.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 64 games, but missed the 65-game mark for awards eligibility. Duffy says Luka will file an Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge after missing two games for the birth of his second child in Slovenia. The Lakers have a postseason spot, but they need Luka healthy to make a real run.
