LeBron Reacts to Luka and Reaves Injuries

The Lakers lost Luka Doncic to a hamstring injury that will keep him out for the rest of the regular season, and Austin Reaves is done for the year with an oblique injury. After Sunday’s loss to the Mavericks, LeBron James said Luka’s news was “a shot to the heart and the chest and the mainframe,” then reacted to Reaves’ injury with, “S--t.” Los Angeles had won 16 of 18 before Luka got hurt and is sitting third in the West, though it could fall as low as sixth. Luka is heading to Europe for specialized treatment. LeBron now has to carry a tough stretch against the Thunder, Warriors, Suns and Jazz without Reaves, who averaged 23.3 points, 5.5 assists and 4.7 rebounds this season.
