LeBron, Giannis, Kawhi Could Switch Teams

Marc Stein reports that LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Kawhi Leonard could be on new teams next season. LeBron is the only one headed for free agency after the season, while Giannis and Kawhi drew interest from other teams before the Feb. 5 trade deadline. LeBron is expected to return for a 24th NBA season, but it’s unclear if he’ll finish his career with the Lakers after eight years in Los Angeles. Giannis has been publicly feuding with the Bucks, which could push Milwaukee toward a deal. Kawhi has kept the Clippers in playoff position after James Harden left, but a split could make sense if they can’t build a real title path around him.
