Kyrie Irving Drawing Trade Interest Around NBA
Several teams are monitoring Kyrie Irving as the 2026-27 season opens, ESPN’s Shams Charania said on the Pat McAfee Show. Irving is averaging 19.0 points on 51.2/32.0/100.0 shooting in his first three games back from a torn ACL. He’s making $39.5 million this season and holds a $42.4 million player option for 2027-28. Miami could be interested, but Charania doubts the Heat have enough to offer after sending three first-round picks, a swap and other assets for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Dallas is 2-2 and building around 19-year-old Cooper Flagg. If the Mavericks slide out of the West playoff picture, Irving talks could heat up before the Feb. 11 deadline.
