With three months until the 2027 trade deadline, Kyrie Irving, Michael Porter Jr., Kristaps Porzingis, Norman Powell, Anthony Davis, Derrick Jones Jr. and Tyler Herro are already lining up as names to watch. Dallas could use Irving to rebuild its draft stash around Cooper Flagg, while Brooklyn has reason to move Porter before his $40.8 million contract expires. Golden State is reportedly pessimistic Porzingis will ever play for the Warriors again, according to ESPN’s Anthony Slater. Powell’s team option makes him movable from Chicago, and Washington has to weigh Davis’ $63 million player option against the risk of losing him for nothing. Milwaukee also has several expiring deals, with Herro the likeliest big name to go.
