Kristaps Porzingis Considering Basketball Future

Kristaps Porziņģis is seriously considering his future in basketball, ESPN’s Shams Charania reports. Porziņģis has dealt with POTS and could step away for good if his recovery doesn’t improve. He’s on a $20 million trade-flexible contract this season with a small partial guarantee next year, so Golden State could still move him. The Warriors could use his deal and future picks to chase help now. Proposed options include Rui Hachimura and Jordan Miller from the Clippers, Domantas Sabonis from the Kings in a deal involving Draymond Green, or AJ Green and Jaime Jaquez Jr. from the Bucks. Any move would likely cost Golden State real draft value.
