Kawhi Leonard Out Weeks With Knee Swelling
Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss weeks with swelling in his left knee, Shams Charania reported. An MRI showed no structural damage, and the Raptors will reevaluate him in one week. Leonard missed Sunday’s loss to Minnesota after playing fewer than 30 minutes in each of Toronto’s first two games. Ja'Kobe Walter started in Leonard’s place against the Timberwolves. Toronto still has Scottie Barnes, Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett for Wednesday’s home game against Orlando, but Kawhi’s availability will shape how high this team can climb in the East. He signed a two-year, $115 million extension in September.
🧙♂️ Merlin’s Prediction
Ja'Kobe Walter stays in Toronto’s starting lineup through Leonard’s reevaluation next week.
