Jeremy Sochan Goes No. 1 to Texas Legends

Jeremy Sochan went No. 1 overall to the Texas Legends in Saturday’s 2026 NBA G League Draft. The former No. 9 pick spent four NBA seasons with the Spurs and Knicks, won a title with New York last season, and has averaged 9.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in the NBA. The Legends are Dallas’ G League affiliate and also picked Jevin Muniz at No. 10 and Matthew Lane at No. 17. Sochan now gets a fresh runway to show he belongs back in the NBA when the G League season opens Nov. 6.
