Jaylen Brown has taken on a bigger leadership role for the Celtics while Jayson Tatum recovers from a torn Achilles. ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne reports Brown has used meditation, teammates’ astrological charts, numerology, and red light therapy on his knee. Brown said, “I made a chart of all my teammates... But the s--t worked.” It’s lining up with his best NBA season: 28.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game, all career highs. Boston has exceeded expectations, and Brown’s production is a big reason why. Whether anyone else buys the astrology part, his teammates are getting a locked-in version of him.
