Jalen Brunson Makes Law and Order SVU Debut

Jalen Brunson made his Law & Order: SVU debut Thursday night, playing Detective Madison. His father, Knicks assistant coach Rick Brunson, also popped up briefly in the episode. The cameo comes after Brunson built a friendship with SVU star Mariska Hargitay, one of the Knicks’ most visible fans. Hargitay supported New York during its 2026 title run and attended the parade after the Knicks ended a 53-year drought. Brunson called her his favorite celebrity Knicks fan in a quote to Variety. On the floor, he’s still rolling too, averaging 25.6 points and 5.1 assists this season after winning both East Finals MVP and Finals MVP last postseason.
