Doc Rivers Future With Bucks Unclear

Doc Rivers’ future with the Bucks is still up in the air. GM Jon Horst told The Athletic’s Eric Nehm he doesn’t know the outcome yet, but said the team will figure it out “pretty quickly.” Rivers is under contract through 2026-27, but he hinted Tuesday that he wants more time with his seven grandkids. Milwaukee will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2015-16, and its .392 winning percentage is its worst since Giannis Antetokounmpo’s rookie season. Rivers has gone 96-101 without a playoff series win since taking over in January 2024. He’ll also be inducted into the Hall of Fame this summer.
