Dillon Brooks Suspended Against Rockets

Dillon Brooks is set to miss Tuesday’s game against the Houston Rockets after picking up his 18th technical foul of the season Sunday against the Chicago Bulls. If the technical stands, Brooks gets a one-game suspension. He leads the NBA with 18 techs, ahead of Luka Dončić with 16 and Draymond Green with 13. It’s rough timing for Phoenix. The Suns are 43-35, sitting seventh in the West with four games left and 3.5 games behind the sixth-place Minnesota Timberwolves. Brooks is averaging a career-high 20.5 points as Phoenix’s second-leading scorer behind Devin Booker. He’ll also miss a chance to face Houston, which traded him to Phoenix for Kevin Durant. The Suns are 0-3 against the Rockets this season.
