Darius Acuff Jr Makes NBA History Fast
Darius Acuff Jr. has already made NBA history eight games into his career. The Kings rookie is the first player to post more than 200 points and 50 assists in his first eight games, Sacramento announced Thursday. Acuff, the No. 7 pick out of Arkansas, is averaging a team-high 25.6 points during the Kings' 1-7 start. He’s also joined Cooper Flagg, Luka Dončić, and LeBron James as the only teenagers with 20 points, five assists, and five rebounds in three straight games. The shooting needs work, though. He’s at 39.7 percent overall and 30.8 percent from three.
🧙♂️ Merlin’s Prediction
Acuff will be Sacramento’s leading scorer again in the Kings’ next game.
