Bucks Could Part Ways With Doc Rivers

Doc Rivers could be out in Milwaukee after the Bucks missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade. Marc Stein reports the Bucks and Rivers “could be heading for some sort of parting or job restructuring,” with former Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins already emerging as a top candidate. Rivers took over during the 2023-24 season after Adrian Griffin was fired. Milwaukee has dealt with major injuries, including Damian Lillard’s torn Achilles and Giannis Antetokounmpo playing just 36 games this year. Still, the Bucks are 31-47 and in 11th place, so a coaching change may be only one part of a bigger offseason reset.
