Anthony Davis Still Upset Over Lakers Trade

Anthony Davis said he thought Nico Harrison was joking when he called to say the Lakers had traded him to the Mavericks for Luka Doncic. On The Draymond Green Show, Davis said he called Lakers GM Rob Pelinka, still didn’t believe it, then finally saw Shams Charania’s post confirming the deal. “My heart is in my stomach, because like, what the f--k just happened?” Davis said. Davis understands the business side, saying “Luka is f--king Luka,” but he still hates how the Lakers handled it. He said nobody gave him a heads-up after everything he did in Los Angeles. Dallas later fired Harrison in November, then traded Davis to the Wizards at February’s deadline.
