AJ Dybantsa Takes Over Draft Top Spot

AJ Dybantsa has moved to No. 1 on ESPN’s latest NBA draft big board, passing Darryn Peterson. The BYU wing is now ahead of Peterson and Duke big man Cameron Boozer in the race for the top pick. Jeremy Woo wrote that NBA executives most often project Dybantsa to go first. Jonathan Wasserman’s latest mock draft has the Indiana Pacers taking Dybantsa at No. 1. He pointed to Dybantsa’s 60.0 true shooting percentage and late-season stretches where he took over games. The NBA draft is June 25, so Peterson and Boozer still have time to make their case.
