76ers Starting Five Off To 5 0 Start

A few weeks into the 2026-27 season, some NBA starting fives are already rolling while others are searching for answers. Philadelphia’s Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James and Joel Embiid are 5-0 with a plus-20.1 net rating. San Antonio’s three-guard group is on a five-game winning streak, while Golden State has won five straight behind Stephen Curry and its new small lineup. Injuries are shaping a lot of these early grades. Anthony Edwards is out until around Christmas for Minnesota, Ja Morant could miss time until December, and Oklahoma City has lost Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and possibly Cason Wallace. Small samples matter too, but Chicago, Phoenix, Sacramento and New Orleans have early starting groups that need changes fast.
