"Celtics Flip Script With Big Win in Game 4, Head Back to Boston With Series Renewed Hopes"
The Boston Celtics refuse to go down without a fight after Marcus Smart declared "Don't let us get one" prior to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Miami Heat. In the end, the Celtics stunned their opponents with a 116-99 victory to extend the series and bring it back to Boston for Game 5, now three wins away from making history.
Jaylen Brown discussed how the team spoke together on Monday to stay united. "We wanted to make sure that we looked each other in the eye and came out today and put our best foot forward, and I'm proud of our group for doing that," said Brown.
Jayson Tatum then continued to lead his team on the court with 25 points and one turnover in the second half. "When I came back in [after a timeout], he [Coach Mazzula] just drew up a play to get some movement, finding open space, and then make the right play," said Tatum. The Celtics will now look to continue their Cinderella story and secure another win in Boston on Thursday.
