"Bucks Narrow Coaching Search Down to Three Candidates, Including Ex-Toronto Coach Nick Nurse"

The Milwaukee Bucks are zeroing in on the top candidates for their coaching search. According to ESPN sources, three prominent names are set to interview for the job this week: former Toronto coach Nick Nurse, Golden State Warriors associate head coach Kenny Atkinson, and Raptors assistant Adrian Griffin.

"Nurse looms prominently in not only the Bucks' search but those of the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers," said one source.

The Bucks are looking to replace the departing Mike Budenholzer, who had an impressive record of nearly .700 in regular season wins and won an NBA championship in 2021. Nurse, Atkinson, and Griffin all bring their own impressive NBA resumes to the table. Nurse won an NBA Coach of the Year award in 2020 and Atkinson was successful with the Brooklyn Nets, leading the team to a 42-40 record and the playoffs in his final season. Griffin is a steady rising star among assistant coaches, having worked with the Raptors, Thunder, Magic, and Bulls.

This could be an exciting new era for the Bucks, with a top candidate soon to be crowned as the team's new head coach!
