"Nuggets Go for History as They Aim to Sweep LeBron James and the Lakers in Playoff Series"

Monday night, the Denver Nuggets face a seemingly impossible task: beating LeBron James to complete the franchise's first ever sweep. No team has been able to do it in the playoffs before the Finals; James has only been swept twice before in the NBA Finals. "For me, [on Monday] it has to end," veteran forward Jeff Green stated. Guard Bruce Brown echoed the same sentiment, saying the Nuggets must "give [the Lakers] no hope, no confidence" while trying to stay alive.

The Lakers have an added incentive to not be swept as they practice for their season's final game. "Our fans, Lakers nation, they support the hell out of us and we got to do our part," said Darvin Ham, head coach of the Lakers. Nikola Jokic added, "I'm worried because they have LeBron on the other side and he is capable of doing everything." With the stakes higher than ever, the Nuggets are determined to make history on Monday night while the Lakers will aim to keep their Championship chances alive.
