"Mo Bamba Cleared to Return for Lakers in Western Conference Finals Game 4/5"
The Los Angeles Lakers may have hope for an injury-riddled post-season after all! Center Mo Bamba, who has been sidelined with a left ankle injury since the first round of the playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies, is expected to be cleared for a return in as soon as Games 4 or 5 of the Western Conference Finals. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, "A 7-foot center, Bamba could offer the Lakers team lacking size in its rotation another option on Nuggets superstar big man Nikola Jokic."
Since being acquired from the Orlando Magic at the trade deadline back in February, Bamba has seen limited minutes for the Lakers, but his much needed help could arrive just in time. As the series shifts to Los Angeles, the Lakers find themselves behind in the series 2-0 to the Denver Nuggets.
This is an important moment for the Lakers as they may have the opportunity to bring a much needed big man to the table and make a statement with their play. Let's see how the series plays out!
