"Andrew Wiggins Questionable for Do-or-Die Game 6: Warriors Guard Puts Up Career-High in Game 5 Despite Injury"

The Golden State Warriors are facing elimination tonight in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals against the Los Angeles Lakers, and their task has been made more difficult with the injury of guard Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins is questionable for Friday's matchup with a left costal cartilage fracture, an area of the rib cage, though it is unknown when the injury occurred.

Coach Steve Kerr said that Wednesday's Game 5 was Wiggins' "best game since he returned from a two-month absence at the start of the playoffs. He had 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists."

The Warriors will certainly miss Wiggins' offensive production if he is unable to play, but his defensive performance against LeBron James is also something the team cannot afford to lose in such a close series. The outcome of Game 6 could determine whether the Warriors live to fight another day or give way to the Lakers.
