"Draymond Green Sets a Vicious Tone in Warriors' Must-Win Game 5, Propels Golden State to Keep Their Season Alive"

Draymond Green took it upon himself to set the tone for the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 against the Los Angeles Lakers. When asked to bring his presence, Green responded with a "Season is on the line, backs against the wall. You got to come out and give it all you got." He finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds and showed his value in leading the Warriors to a 121-106 win and forcing Game 6.

When discussing Green's impact, Warrior's head coach Steve Kerr said "When he's aggressive like that, looking to attack, it definitely adds another dimension to our team. I loved his approach to the game tonight." Green also helped relieve Stephen Curry of onerous defense, opening up opportunities for the team.

In addition to Green's heroics, Andrew Wiggins had a stellar performance with 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. He said, "You get paid a lot of money to do this, so you can't just sit back and watch [Curry and Klay Thompson]." With the win, the Warriors improved to 8-2 when facing elimination under Kerr, giving them a fighting chance as the series shifts back to Los Angeles. As Green stated, "[The Lakers] won't just fold. It's going to be on us to go in there and take it."
