Lonnie Walker IV Steps Up to the Plate, Leads Lakers to Game 4 Win with Historic Performance

Lonnie Walker IV put on a performance for the ages in Game 4 of the Lakers' matchup against the Warriors. With the score knotted up in the fourth quarter, the 24-year-old guard took over the game, scoring 15 of his 27 points to help lead LA to a 104-101 win and put them one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Finals.

"It just comes with a lot of confidence," Walker said after hitting a big pull-up jumper with Stephen Curry on him late in the game, putting the Lakers up for good. "I made a couple of other shots prior to that, and I think my confidence was for sure at an all-time high."

LeBron James, who was also instrumental in Los Angeles' fourth-quarter rally, gave the game ball to the young guard, saying "We don't win without him." Not since Kobe Bryant has a Lakers player put up 15 points or more in the fourth quarter of a playoff game, and Monday's performance from Lonnie Walker IV will certainly be one to remember.
