Jamal Murray Questionable for Game 6 Against Phoenix Suns with Non-COVID Illness
The Denver Nuggets just got some troubling news ahead of Thursday’s Game 6 with the Phoenix Suns: starting point guard Jamal Murray has been added to the injury report and is now listed as “questionable” due to “non-COVID illness”. This news comes after Nuggets head coach Michael Malone’s own non-COVID-related health issues caused a shortened morning shootaround.
Murray has been playing at a high level throughout the series, averaging 24.6 points, 7.0 assists and 5.0 rebounds, and shooting 45.4% from the field. However, his availability for Thursday’s must-win game is now up in the air. “We will see how he is feeling before Game 6,” said Malone.
The Nuggets have been in a closely matched battle with the Suns and desperately need Murray in order to keep their season alive. As the banner says, “Push Through.”
